Birthday party

It’s that time of year again!  It’s the Isaac/Joshua birthday party!  Isaac turned 3 in February, and Joshua’s birthday is still a couple of weeks away.  We were hoping for a beautifully warm, sunny day despite what the weathermen predicted.  No luck.  We did get a couple of minutes of sun so that we could hide the eggs.  By the time we went hunting for the eggs, it was sprinkling.  The boys didn’t mind at all.  They just pulled their hoods up and ran out into the yard.  They really enjoyed hunting eggs.  It’s funny how it took 2 toddlers and 8 adults to find all the eggs.  We all had a blast!

After the egg hunt, we played a lot inside.  Julia took a short nap, and then was a big hit!  She got a lot of attention, and loved watching the bigger kids play.  Who doesn’t love a baby with a flower on her head?

We got to spend time with Gommy and Aunt Susie and Aunt Sandy.  It was so nice having the whole family together.

We really tested nap limits for Joshua and Isaac, but they hung in there like troopers! I think Julia’s bright eyes show she was the best rested of the bunch! As they say, a good time was had by all. . . .

I love that little flower. I will take a big bunch of her. The birthday boys seem to be having a great time. No time to nap.
